Final Reports & Reccomendations

IPR saw review of the five established Fisheries and Oceans Indigenous programs divided into two phases, and was conducted during 2018 and 2019. In addition, engagement and evaluation findings from the Phase Two report would support the development of the March 2019, Northern Integrated Commercial Fisheries Initiative final report.

IPR produced 141 Recommendations directed at specific programs within Fisheries and Oceans Canada. All IPR recommendations were formally accepted by the Minister of Fisheries, Oceans, and the Canadian Coast Guard on May 24, 2019.
